Brinsop's Brood is a stand-alone novella and the first book of the Dragon Stone Adventures series. The story takes place not long after the events of Kathir's Redemption. Sela, who has returned to Parthos to look after the city, waits for Brinsop to contact her. The dragon has left for the desert to lay eggs for the first time in decades. One day, Sela hears from her friend, calling her to visit her new hatchlings. Sela leaves the city in the care of the palace guard to journey into the Death Sands and meet her dragon's new brood.
Little do either of them know that a hidden enemy is plotting against them both...
